This series of pieces depicts various women “wearing their warpaint.” Inspired by the strength of women in history and in my personal life, these pieces show the less than lady-like and kick ass version of women. The series started with a project I did in high school [the image with all of the text] on a piece of plywood with ink and paint. I’ve been drawing these women ever since! The series evolved over time to include a number of different women depicted in various mediums (digital, ink, pencil, paint, etc) and I plan on adding more to the collection over time.
